Founded in the Spring of 2001 by celebrated musician and director El Maestro Refugio “Cuco” Del Cid, Mariachi Herencia de Corazón is dedicated to the preservation of traditional mariachi music while fostering the educational and professional growth of its members. Maestro Del Cid brought unparalleled experience to the ensemble, having performed alongside ranchera legends Flor Silvestre, Javier Solis, and Antonio Aguilar, and spending over two decades with the world-renowned Los Angeles-based Mariachi Los Camperos de Nati Cano. Based in Southern Arizona, the group is widely recognized for its vibrant performances at private events, local festivals, and others such as the annual Bisbee Mariachi Festival. Notably, they are a staple in the Catholic community, performing for special celebrations and hosting a monthly mass at St. Augustine Cathedral. “Musica de mariachi; Corazón, Sentimiento, Pasión y Compañerismo.”
